Bernart en Daem van Palant, zoons van wijlen Daem van Palant, oudsten zoon van heer Werner, heer zo Palant en Breydenbent, ridder, gaan een broederscheiding aan. Met de zegels van de oorkonders en van hun ooms heer Reynart van Palant, ridder, proost te Kerpen en heer Diderich van Burtscheyt, ridder, erfhofmeester van het land van Gulik.

Appelloenye van der Marcke, dochter zu Werrenberg, weduwe van heer Diederich van Palant, ridder, gaat, op raad van haar broeder Adolff van der Marck, een overeenkomst aan met haar verwanten, Daym, Emont, Johan en GherartT van Pallant, over de brieven, door haar man achtergelaten op het kasteel te Valkenborch, waarbij een regeling wordt getroffen omtrent de opberging in een kist en de verdeeling van de sleutels daarvan, en de bewaring bij Peter van Kentzwilre, kapelaan te Aiche.
