Notes about Jantje Posthumus

Jantje overlijdt in Delft op 15 januari 1912. Nog geen vijf maanden later, op 7 juni 1912, overlijdt in Workum haar 9 maanden oude zoon Anthonius Gerrit Stefanus van Willigen. Ze laat twee kinderen achter, Juliana en Cornelis van Willigen, die bij hun zieke vader wonen.
Op 26 februari 1912 gaat haar zuster Tjitske Posthumus naar Delft om voor de kinderen te zorgen.
Vader Johan van Willigen stuurt 26 april 1912 uit het sanatorium Hellendoorn een kaart naar zijn zwager Johan Posthumus. De voorkant van de kaart is een groepsfoto met o.a. van Willigen, vermoedelijk gemaakt voor n van de gebouwen van het sanatorium. 3
In augustus 1912 staat Johan van Willigen met zijn twee kinderen en zijn schoonzuster ingeschreven in de Van Bleiswijckstraat 35 te Delft en in april 1913 in de Vlamingstraat 89 te Delft. In de Vlamingstraat 89 vestigen zich op 22 mei 1913 ook de ouders van Tjitske.
Gerrit en Jitske Posthumus, besluiten namelijk ook te verhuizen. Het is lastig en duur de inboedel mee te nemen dus wordt de gehele huisraad op 29 april 1913 bij opbod verkocht in tegenwoordigheid van Simon Suwijn, notarisklerk en Jetze de Haan, koopman, beide wonende te Workum. De opbrengst bedraagt 64 gulden en 40 cent. Een chiffonire brengt f 2.10 op, een kachel f 6,00 en de cokesbak f 0,40. Een oud hobbelpaard is nog f 0,25 cent waard.
Op 22 september 1913 vertrekken zij allen naar Rijswijk Z-H, Jaagpad 17. Het huis ligt aan de Vliet, tussen het stoomgemaal, Jaagpad 6, boerderijcomplex 'Vlietzicht', Jaagpad 7 en de watertoren, Jaagpad 148c, gebouwd in 1911 ten behoeve van de bewoners van Rijswijk-Zuid.
Tjitske (volgens akten Tjitschke en later tante Trees genoemd), wordt 17 december 1913 ingeschreven als hoofdbewoner van Gasthuislaan 194 te Delft komend uit Rijswijk, samen met haar neef Cornelis van Willigen. Op 4 april 1914 vertrekken zij weer uit Delft en vestigen zich in Den Haag in de Rembrandtstraat 365, waar ook Juliana van Willigen, komende uit Woerden, gaat wonen en op 23 september 1915 Johannes Pieter van Willigen staat ingeschreven. Op 6 juni 1916 is hij weer ingeschreven in Delft, waar hij een jaar later overlijdt.
Gerrit en Jitske Posthumus verhuizen, komende uit Rijswijk, naar Scheveningen en trekken in bij hun zoon Johan aan de Vijzelstraat 129. Na het huwelijk van hun zoon gaan ze ook in de Rembrandtstraat 365 wonen. De twee kinderen van Johannes van Willigen worden 29 januari 1916 tijdelijk ondergebracht in het R.K. Weeshuis aan de Warmoezierstraat 91 te Den Haag, niet ver van de Rembrandtstraat vandaan.
20 Juni 1916 verhuizen Gerrit, Jitske en hun dochter Tjitschke naar de Noorderbeekstraat 13 te Den Haag. Een paar maanden later overlijdt Gerrit op 29 augustus en weer een paar maanden later Jitske op 19 februari 1917.
Nu Tjitske alleen is gaat zij 15 september 1917 naast haar zuster Sietske wonen in de Pinkstraat 26 op Scheveningen. Ruim twee jaar later, 6 Januari 1920, staat Tjitske uitgeschreven naar Alphen, Torenstraat 121, komende uit 's Gravenhage. Zaterdag 17 januari 1920 staat in het Avondblad A van Het Vaderland No. 16 bij de rubriek Huwelijksafkondiging 17 Januari, B. van d. IJssel en T. Posthumus. Na haar huwelijk met Bertus v.d. IJssel haalt Tjitske 2 februari 1920 Cornelis en Juliana van Willigen, de kinderen van haar zuster, uit het weeshuis op die daarna door haar en haar man opgevoed worden.
Cornelis verhuist 4 november 1927 van Alphen aan den Rijn naar de Pinkstraat 22 in Scheveningen, waar hij inwoont bij zijn oom en tante, Steffen van der Pal en Sietske Posthumus, waarschijnlijk om in de zaak te helpen, als zijn beroep staat vermeld winkelbediende. Hij blijft in Den Haag wonen en sticht er een gezin. Juliana blijft in Alphen aan de Rijn en trouwt daar. Later verhuist ze naar Rotterdam.
