Notes about Michiel van Alpen

Doopplaats/tijd onbekend (niet Kockenge volgens GN). Hij was molenaar op de Achtienhvensemolen,
aldaar (bron GN1964). Kwam in 1725 met attestatie van de Bilt, in 1741 transp.Gosen van Bemmel
zekere hofstede met omtrent 10 mergen, 21 roeden en 43 voeten, 200 weij als hooiland gelegen in
die gerechte van Westbroek (huidige Alpenhof).
Er is in Westbroek een straat vernoemd naar de familie van Alphen. Anno 1749 leent Michgel 500
gulden voor de aankoop van de Kortenhoefse Molen (blz. 27) Vlg GN: staat per 1725 ingeschreven
als lidmaat van de Prot.Kerk te Westbroek. Kocht de molen samen met oom Rijck. 4.9.1741 10 morgen
land gekocht. In 1963 was er nog een boerderij "Alpenhof" aanwezig (Dorpsweg, Westbroek).
