De afkondigingen van het huwelijk waren op de 24e en 31e juli jongstleden en hebben zonder eenige stuiting plaatsgehad, en tot dat einde aan ons ter hand stellende
De huwelijksbijlagen bevatten de extracten uit de geboorteregisters, de doodakte van haar vader en het certificaat van de Nat.Militie in het inschrijfregister van de gemeente Gouda van het jaar 1895, voor de lichting van het jaar 1896, is ingeschreven, dat hem bij loting ten deel is gevallen nr. 110, en dat hij vervolgens door de Millitieraad, uit hoofd van broederdienst, van de dienst is vrijgesteld. De ouders van der bruidegom en de moeder der bruid, hierbij tegenwoordig, verklaarden hunne toestemming te geven tot dit huwelijk.
Getuigen bij het huwelijk waren; Jacob Johannes Amesz, oud 24 jaren, sigarenmaker, wonende te Wageningen, broeder der contractant, Otto Adrianus van de Want, oud 40 jaren, pijpmaker, aanbehuwd broeder des contractants, Arie van Vliet, oud 40 jaren, touwslager, broeder der contractante en Jacobus van der Kist, oud 35 jaren, loodgieter, aanbehuwd broeder der contractante. De moeder der contractante verklaarde niet te kunnen teekenen, als hebbende zulks niet geleerd.
