„ _ , d. Bosch op 5 Oct. 1905 te Veenendaal. -
Kinderen: Jochem Willem, il geb. 12 Aug.1906; Gijsbertus Dirk, geb.14 Dec. 1908,
beiden werkzaam in het bedrijf van hun vader, verder Alida Gerritdina, geb. 8 Dec.
1910 en Dirkje Juditje, geb. 15 Oct. 1920. -Van S. trad reeds op 15-j.
leeftijd in dienst bij de sigarenfabriek „De Ritmeester" te Veenendaal. -
In totaal was hij daar 31 jaar werkzaam, waarvan 26 jaar als chef van het bedrijf. - In 1923 richtte hij zelf een sigarenfabriok op, welke hij den naam gaf van „Cavansa". - Aanvankelijk werkte hij er met 20 man personeel, dat echter na verloop van korten tijd tot 90 moest worden uitgebreid. - In 1935 is een nevenbedrijf te Opheusden gesticht, hetwelk denzelfden naam voert. - De onderneming produceert speciale merken in goedkoope en betere kwaliteiten, ook voor export naar Ned.-Indië, w.o. Cavansa, J. S. Bach en Mimosa, namen, welke wettig gedeponeerd zijn. - Tot den bloei van het bedrijf draagt ook de gunstige ligging aan de spoorlijn
