      David van Raalte had twee zonen, beiden firmant van de firma, Isidor en Gerard. Ze bleven ongehuwd en leefden met hun moeder tot haar overlijden in 1916 meer dan twintig jaar samen in het pand Westersingel 118. Ze zijn in 1928 verhuisd naar Den Haag. Gerard van Raalte, geboren 1867, was regent van het Israëlitisch Weeshuis van 1909 tot 1928. Hij was bestuurslid van de Centrale Vereeniging tot verbetering van de Armenzorg in de Israëlitische Gemeente te Rotterdam. Hij is evenals zijn broer in 1944 gedeporteerd.
