OFO IV-140,157:Genoemd als olderman van Leeuwarden en grietman van Leeuwarderadeel (1506,1510) en Tietjerksteradeel (1504,1506,1510);ook in OFO II-250 d.d.2-4-1511.

Eigenaar en bewoner van het Amelandshuis in Leeuwarden.

Hij was als Schieringer betrokken bij het bieroproer in 1487 te Leeuwarden.

Hij sloot mee op 28-6-1492 (OFO II-182) namens Leeuwarden het verbond met Sneek,Franeker en Bolsward en was tegen een verbond met Groningen,maar volgens Pax-73 d.d.5-11-1492 sluit hij zich dan aan bij het verbond tussen Leeuwarden en Groningen van 10-10-1492.

Op de lijst van Friese edelen d.d.5-1-1505 onder 113 (T342-05,62).

Bij R.v.A.1511 heeft Pieter Hayes van Cammingha te Leeuwarden veel bezit in Leeuwarden en ook daar buiten.

Hij testeerde te Leeuwarden op 26-11-1521 (EEE 2-307,516,F.T.98 en OFO IV-236)).

Sicke krijgt Heringastate bij Rauwerd,Wytze krijgt Jelmerastate op Ameland,Haye krijgt zijn state in Leeuwarden en voor Graets zijn er sieraden.

Vermoedelijk begraven te Leeuwarden in de Jacobijnerkerk (onduidelijk grafschrift).
