Gedoopt te Simpelveld op 26 november 1702. Getuigen waren Joannes Tauzenbergh en Maria Jaspers. Hij overleed te Heerlen op 26 juni 1755 (aan zwarte pokken.). Hij trouwde te Heerlen op 21 november 1728 met MARIA CATHARINA LOIJSON. Getuigen bij dit huwelijk waren: Eerw Pater Telsphorus Carmeliet en Wilhelmus Schepers met Maria Catharina Loijson. Zij is gedoopt te Heerlen op 25 december 1707 en overleden te Heerlen op 2 juli 1755 (aan de zwarte pokken, 4 dagen naar haar man.)

 

Op 2 oktober 1740 verschenen voor notaris C. Swildens, Hans Peter Stevens halvwin op den hof Beersdal en Hans Willem Widdershoven, halvwin op de Hof Bensenrade, oud 38 jaar, die op verzoek van Mevrouw Schardinel de gewande visiteren op den hof Ten Daal, bewoond door Jan Mertens.

De familie Widdershoven bewoonde in de XVIII-de eeuw de hoeve 'DEN VRANCK' naast Beersdalshof en Coninxbeemd onder Heerlen, maar in 1776 woonde er Jan Leonard Voragien. Uit notariële akte van 29 september 1757 blijkt dat de hoeve de Vranck te Heerlen behoorde aan Pacque (Pascal) de Hesselle, die eerst gehuwd was met Maria Cheneu, en in tweede huwelijk met Martha Henrotay. De hoeve de Vranck werd georven door Joannes Loyson, gehuwd met Anna Maria Loyson, pachter te Sint Jansgeleen, en door de kinderen van wijlen Joannes Wilhelmus Widdershoven, gehuwd met Maria Catharina Loyson. De Vranck bestond uit 28 boender land. Dit gedeelte werd in 4 loten verdeeld en er werd door Joh. Leonard Widdershoven geld opgenomen voor zijn broer Theodorus, novist in de abdij Gladbach. Joannus Leonard Widdershoven, gehuwd met Elisabeth Crahay, pachter van de hoeve Bensenrade, neemt namelijk bij Philipus Kerens, burgemeester van Maastricht, een kapitaal op van 2200 gulden. Dit Kapitaal moet dienen om de onkosten te dragen der professie van Theodorus Widdershoven, monnik in de abdij Gladbach.

 

Op 6 mei 1762 worden voor landmeter H. Rhoen te Heerlen de goederen nagelaten bij wijlen Jan Willem Widdershoven gehuwd met Maria Catharina Loyson in drieën gedeeld, ieder lot voor 4952 gulden; nl. voor:

1). Henricus Melchers gehuwd met Anna Catharina Widdershoven o.a. de gehele bouw gelegen in den Vranck onder de Hoofbank Heerlen, zoals deze uit de nalatenschap van Simon Loyson op de erfgenamen zijn gedevolveerd.

2). Joannes Petrus Widdershoven land en geld.

3). Johan Leonard Widdershoven o.a. bouw op Vrusschenbroek.
