Hij was voogd en executeur van de boedel van zijn tante Maria Adriaansdr. HOOGENDIJK, die overleed te Oud-Beijerland op 6 juni 1663. Die werd weduwe van dijkgraaf Zeger Jacobszn. CRANENDONCK en trouwde daarna met Johan de GRAEFF. Mede-executeurs en voogden waren:
