  1685: Denijs Arijensz., wonende in de Riedijkstraat, betaalt 8 stuivers lantaarngeld. (Stadsarchief Dordrecht nr. 3, inv. 3984, f. 62v)

- 13 jan. 1693: Denijs Ariensz., schipper te Dordrecht, is schuldig aan Jan Jansz. Braemsloot, gewezen deken van het Klein-Schippersgilde van Dordrecht, een bedrag van 700 gl. Compareerde mede Maeijken Isaacx, weduwe van Gerrit de Vries, in zijn leven schipper te Dordrecht, die verklaarde zich borg te stellen voor haar schoonzoon. Akte door beiden ondertekend. (ONA Dordrecht inv. 554)

- 26 jan. 1717: boedelscheiding van wijlen Rena Gerritsz., weduwe van Denijs Ariensz. van Dongen. Hun kinderen zijn Arij, Gerrit en Maijke Denijsz. van Dongen. De twee laatstgenoemden worden vertegenwoordigd door hun voogden Pieter van Dongen en Adriaan Papegaij. Het huis in de Riedijkstraat gaat naar Gerrit, het huis in de Torenstraat naar Arij. Tot de boedel behoren ook de opbrengst van de verkoop van een huis aan de Nieuwendijk [Bleijenhoek]. Rena is overleden op 26 jan. 1717. Haar zuster is Willempje Gerritsdr., weduwe van Maarten Maartensz. Aan de boedel komt nog toe een bedrag van 850 gl. ten laste van Arij Denisz. van Dongen en zijn vrouw Margrita van der Matte.
