Pieter woont eerst in Kethel en later in Overschie; hij heeft de titel welgeboren man van Delfland.
Zijn achternaam werd ook geschreven als Toll en Tol.
Hij pachtte weiland in de Babberspolder van Claes Duijst en zijn zusters.
In 1570 heeft hij een geschil met zijn zwager Cors jacobsz over een 3-tal kwesties:
- Pieter had Cors in een aantal zaken vertegenwoordigd en had geld tegoed; dit won hij;
- Pieter dacht geld tegoed te hebben uit landverkoop maar dat verloor hij;
- Het ging ook om een erfenis van groote moeder Marritge Meeus.
In 1578 is Pieter huurder van een huis te Schiedam.
Als schout wordt hij geconfronteerd over een geschil tussen Rotterdam en Delft over het gezag over Overschie.
