Jan is borg van Willem Jansz Bredervliet 1649.
Op 10-03-1653 is Jan Claesz voogd over de kinderen van Ingetje Claesd.
06-10-1664 is Jan Claesz mede erfgenaam van Willem Jansz Bredervliet, in die kwaliteit bij scheiding aanbedeeld met het navolgende huis en erf aan de omring van de Kerk, verkoopt hij dit. Koopsom 300 gulden.

Als jan overlijdt op 05-10-1676 wordt zijn neef Pieter Doensz van der Starre zijn opvolger.
