    In de nacht van 12 op 13 november 1896 tijdens gunstig weer op 12 mijl van Scheveningen is de KW 6 "Eduard Sebastiaan" overvaren door het Stoomschip MINERVA van de KNSM.
    De bomschuit was op de thuisreis en de 10 bemanningsleden die het schip bemande verdronken allemaal.
