Notes about Adrianus "Arie" Bakkum

Arie Bakkum was penningmeester van het R.K. kerkbestuur van Uitgeest, van 1871 tot zijn overlijden in 1901. Hij behoorde met zijn 2e vrouw bij de schenkers van de kruiswegstaties in de kerk (circa 1900).In de R.K. kerk van Uitgeest is naast de gedenksteen van de eerste steenlegging (1883) een kleinere steen geplaatst met de naam van A. Bakkum Jz, om aan het nageslacht de vrijgevigheid te melden, die deze kerkmeester bij de opbouw van de kerk heeft betoond.
