- volgens een bron is zij gedoopt in 1728 in Naarden, maar dit is niet te vinden...!! Vermoedelijk is zij toch van elders?
- ook geschreven als Van der Veen of Van Veelen... Margrietije van der Veel komt ook voor, Grietje van Veelen komt ook voor en Margaritje Gerrits van der Veen (in trouwinschrijving!)...
- mogelijke alternatieve ovl-datum..? = 22-5-1770 Naarden als Grietje van den Berg (zie scan)..?
- op 21-7-1765 wordt in Naarden melding gemaakt van lidmaten van de NH-kerk van Grietje en Magtelt van der Veel; ze zijn dan wel wat ouder.. en het is de eerste keer dat deze naam in Naarden in het lidmatenboek voorkomt..!! [zie scan]

- het kan zijn dat zij uit Blaricum komt..?? (huwelijk Naarden van Barent Jan van Veelen in 1747 uit Blaricum met Maria Catharina van Gijsen uit Maastricht)..??
