- hij was medeondertekenaar (van de 41) van een verzoekschrift in 1706 door Gerard Norbert van Scherpenseel tot Rumpt, heer van Dreumel, aan de bisschop van Roermond om een nieuwe parochie te mogen oprichten. De vorige pastoor had Dreumel in dit opzicht verwaarloosd. Is ook de reden waarom de DTB-boeken pas vanaf 1706 beginnen.
