    Hij is de eerste van Maris die we aantreffen op de huidige Molenheg. Willem komt er in 1838 na het huwelijk met de dochter van Johannes Driessen in het ouderlijk huis van haar ouders wonen op Egchel 28. In 1840 staat Willem samen met zijn vrouw en dochter Petronella en akkermeid Gertruda van Zwamen ingeschreven op Egchel 28. In het bevolkingsregister van 1860-1870 wordt het huis als nr. 41 genoemd en vervolgens oploopt tot nr 48. In 1876 neemt zoon Peter getrouwd met Elisabeth Keiren de boerderij over. Echter Peter komt op zeer jonge leeftijd te overlijden (1890). Elisabeth vertrekt in 1892 naar haar ouderlijk huis in Helden nr. 382.
