Het burgerlijk huwelijk werd op het Deurnese gemeentehuis voltrokken. De feestdag zal om 11 uur worden ingezet met een plechtige eucharistieviering in de kerk van O.L. Vrouw van Zeven Smarten te Panningen uit dankbaarheid voor het lief en leed in deze 50 jaar ondervonden. De verdere festiviteiten zullen plaatsvinden in lokaal Houtappels, Baarloseweg 30, waar van 17.00 tot 18.30 uur gelegenheid wordt geboden het gouden paar en familie geluk te wensen met deze feestdag. Hannes Vervuurt kan men rustig als kosmopoliet betitelen. De eerste paar jaar van hun echtverbinte nis woonde het echtpaar in Helenaveen waar hij als opzichter van de boerderijen van de maatschap pij in betrekking was, een funktie die ook zijn vader had uitgeoefend. In 1921 vestigde het jonge gezin zich in Grashoek op Helenaveenseweg 105 waar de jongste zoon Leo het tuindersbedrijf voortzet dat de gouden jubilaris daar toen begon en in welk bedrijf hij tot begin januari 1969 de
helpende hand uitstak. Vervolgens verhuisde het gouden paar naar Panningen, waar zij hun intrek namen bij dochter Door die met Leo Hendriks is gehuwd en waar zij rustige uurtjes kunnen door brengen. Toch verlangen zij beiden nog
herhaaldelijk naar hun oude dierbare tuinderij waar ze tussen het groen arbeid en verpozing vonden. En nu wordt het gouden feest op woensdag 27 augustus op feestelijke wijze bij Bets, hun oudste dochter, op de Baarloseweg gevierd. Vervuurt, Johannes, van 16-9-1889; van Mullekom, Hendrika Wilhelmina, van 31-7-1891, beiden in Helenaveen geboren. Hun huwelijk werd met „een elftal" nakomelingen gezegend waarvan de oudste zoon Jacques in dec. 1944 helaas door een mijn-ontploffing om het leven kwam. De overige 5 zoons en 5 dochters zijn allen ge huwd. Het aantal kleinkinderen bedraagt 30.
