Household of Anna Goudswaard

(1) She is married to Hendrik van Muyden.

Hendrick (Hendrik) van Muyden (van Muijden) and Anna Goodswaard (Goudzwaard ?) Weduwe.

This is the oldest known Ancestor of our direct Family Line, there are several other families in Zeelandt with the same name to investigate.
I used the payment of marriage registration "Trouwgeld" in Middelburgh on 17-07-1790 also as the marriage date, it was customary to pay this at the wedding in city hall.
Found out also that Trouwgeld was only valid for the day, next day you had to pay it again if you did not go through with the marriage on the same day. What was the rule on pay in Middelburgh and marry in an other city ?
So the marriage date on the trouwgeld day is the right action.

In the Marriage records of the child Cornelis van Muijden, it is written as Goudswaard. It is very possible that Anna's last name is spelled as Goudzwaard , there are several other Family references as entries in Vlissingen en Zeeland, written with a "z". It looks that this would be the correct spelling. Copies of records to be reviewed against the writing used in that timeperiod.

Like to know who Anna was married before with, and when she became a widow.
Important to look for more siblings here than Cornelis, it could provide ties to the other families.
Since Cornelis was born in Opheusden in Gelderland, the family must have moved (or stayed) between July and February 1791 from Zeeland to Opheusden, and moved back a bit later again , because it is known that both Hendrick and Anna died and were burried there in Middelburg (1794) and Vlissingen respectively (1798).

Persons in these days would not move in the middle of the winter, and we do not know at this point if they stayed with Family or where they lived during the birth of Cornelis.
A move like this usually indicates that the family has ties in that location especially around the birth of Cornelis.
He was also 3 years old when Hendrik past away in Middelburgh, and at 7 years old his address must have been in Vlissingen with the passing of his Mother at that time. Who looked after this child then thereafter, perhaps family in Opheusden or 'sHertogenbosch (den Bosch), becaues he ended up living and working there as well.

In Archief Zeeland, the record of death for Hendrik had the following name : Hendrik Mueje
