Vroomshoop, Hoofdstraat 35 - Het Anker
Interessante kerk met toren.

Op 31 oktober 1868 werd Vroomshoop officieel tot Hervormde Gemeente uitgeroepen. Een kerkgebouw was er echter nog niet. De diensten werden gehouden in een schoolgebouw.

De bouw van de kerk werd na twee aanbestedingen gegund aan de aannemers Trooster en De Vries voor een bedrag van fl. 9.770,00. De kerk werd op 16 maart 1870 in gebruik genomen. Deze ingebruikname gebeurde in een dienst die door ds. L. Vroom uit Zwolle werd geleid.

Op 16 april 1871 kon de eerste predikant, ds. P.G. Dreesman worden bevestigd. De pastorie werd, een week later, op 24 april opgeleverd.
