Levinus en Maatje woonden vanaf 1892 tot 1913 op een hofstede in de Beoosten en Bewestenblijpolder, Eerste Verkorting, nr. 4. Vanaf 1913 werd de hoeve bewoond door hun zoon Jan Pieter van Cadsand en zijn vrouw Sara de Regt. Zij werden in 1953 opgevolgd door hun zoon Jacobus van Cadsand, gehuwd met Pleuntje Wiemes. Vanaf 1977 wordt de hofstede beboerd door de zoon Jan Pieter van Cadsand, gehuwd met Leijntje Magdalena Riemens. Dus vanaf 1892 vier generaties Van Cadsand op dezelfde boerderij. De boerderij draagt sinds enkele decennia de naam “ Banchino”, hetgeen betekent ”het plaatje”, de naam waaronder dit gedeelte van de gemeente Axel algemeen bekend staat. Het is er zandige grond, was vroeger een zandplaat in een nog niet bedijkt gebied.De hofstede werd kort na de bedijking van 1790 gesticht. De eerste bewoners waren Leendert Vel, geboren te Den Bommel en zijn vrouw Neeltje Bruer. Zij woonden er van 1796 tot 1820.
