Notes about Louweris van Staalduinen

R.A. 's Gravenzande, inv. nr. 33 dd. 19 februari 1664. Louris Pieterszn van Staelduynen koopt de Kaapwoning van de mede erfgenamen van Maertje Jorisdr, laatst weduwe van Jan Corneliszn Goudappel. Hierdoor komt de Kaapwoning in handen van een "van Staalduinen". Sindsdien is het landgoed door overerving, soms ook langs vrouwelijke lijn drie eeuwen lang in de familie gebleven. De boerderij is gelegen in het Nieuweland van Zandambacht, daar waar de Noordzeekust een bocht naar het Westen vertoont en een soort "Kaap" vormt. Sinds het graven van de "Nieuwe Waterweg" ligt de Kaapwoning in Hoek van Holland.
