Notes about Roelof "Roel" van Court

Op 17 oktober 1720 werd de nalatenschap verdeeld van Cornelia Rotteveel, gehuwd met Quirinus Oostdam en eerder weduwe van Dirk van Weenen. In verband met de verdeling van de erfenis werd een notariële acte opgemaakt ten behoeve van de boedelscheiding. Niet alleen roerende zaken binnenshuis werden getaxeerd, ook de in haar bezit zijnde gewassen op de tuinderijen. Roel van Court was aangesteld om samen met drie andere tuinders hier zorg voor te dragen. (G.A. Den Haag, Not. Arch. deel 1766, folio 323).
N.b.:Cornelia Rotteveel was de moeder van Helena en Margarita van Weenen, die later met de broers Martinus en Cornelius van Court zouden trouwen.
