Notes about Isabella van Cordoba

Waarschijnlijk Zaida, weduwe van Abu Nasr Al-Fath al-Ma'mun, heerser over de Taifa van Córdoba. Hij sneuvelde 26/27 maart 1091 in de Slag om Cordoba. Zaida vluchtte naar Leon, bekeerde zich tot het christendom en nam de naam Isabel aan. Zij werd concubine van Alfons VI, die in 1100 met haar trouwde en hun illegetieme zoon wettigde en benoemde tot erfgenaam.
