Thomas Willem Gehuwd met Ida Aarts van Eeten, laat een testament maken op 15-8-1727 op de langstlevende. Naast algemene termen wordt in mooi oud Nederlands schrift een aanduiding gegeven hoe de kinderen opgevoed moeten worden 'te laete leren lesen ende schrijven, mitsgaders een handtwerck of ambagt waermede naermaels den cost connen winnen,' Hij ondertekent in duidelijk handschrift Thomas Willem van Ierlant. Ida Aarts van Eeten overlijdt echter kinderloos aan de Hoeve. Op 19 mei 1730 wordt uitvoering gegeven aan voornoemd testament.
