Het echtpaar Segaert - Delanoye baatten aanvankelijk de herberg Oud Zuidwege uit. op het gelijknamige kruispunt aan de Torhoutsesteenweg te Zedelgem.

Naast herbergier, was Felix tevens wagenmaker van beroep. Beiselinck Eduard was er wagenmakersgast. Later verhuisde het gezin naar de overkant van het kruispunt. in de herberg Nieuw Zuidwege ( huidige Bank van Roeselare )
