Nog niet bevestigd door aktes maar het volgende zou mogelijk kunnen zijn.
Jan zou een zoon kunnen zijn van Christiaan Reupken * doop 16-02-1707 te Schwicheldt onder Hildesheim in Duitsland. Christiaan overleed op 27 -05-1772 te Zevenhuizen.
Christiaan is 24-11-1742 in Zevenhuizen in ondertrouw gegaan met Margriet Wellen. Zij trouwden oor de kerk aldaar op 18-04-1742 .
Margriet is overleden op 18-04-1768 te Zevenhuizen.
Zij zouden 12 kinderen gekregen hebben.

Christiaan Reupken was een zoon van Hans Reupken (ovl. op 06-09-1720 te Schwicheldt).
Hans huwde op 27-06-1686 1686 te Schwicheldt met Maria Staal (dochter van Jan Staal).
Zij zouden 13 kinderen gekregen hebben.
