    Eichenberger, Max & Metje (van Keijzerswaard)
    Max en Metje Eichenberger, een jong stel, woonden in Haarlem toen de oorlog uitbrak. Max was een actief lid van de anti-nazi-ondergrondse die als koerier optrad en berichten tussen ondergrondse arbeiders doorgaf. In januari 1943 bracht ondergronds lid Jeanette E. van Zutphen-Beurs een Joods kind van anderhalf jaar, Mia Bertha Loonstein, naar het huis van de Eichenbergers. Mia's ouders waren ondergedoken bij Jeanette's ouders in Varsseveled en de Eichenbergers namen het kleine meisje op. Anthonie LN van Zutphen*, de echtgenoot van Jeanette, was ook lid van de ondergrondse en hield zich bezig met de aanschaf van voedselkaarten voor Mia en zorgde ervoor dat er contact bleef tussen haar en haar ouders. De Loonsteins, die wisten waar hun dochter verstopt zat, vroegen om haar onderhoud te betalen. De Eichenbergers weigerden aanvankelijk,
    Op 13 februari 1978 erkende Yad Vashem Max Eichenberger en zijn vrouw Metje Eichenberger-van Keijzerswaard als Rechtvaardige onder de Volkeren.
