Vander Velden Services Held At Holy Name


Funeral services for Cleborne A. 'Chub' Vander Velden, 65, were at 12 noon Monday at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, Kimberly, with the Rev. Msgr. Carl Steiner officiating. Interment was in St. John's Cemetery, Little Chute. Mr. Vander Velden of 135 S. Sidney St., Kimberly, died Friday afternoon April 29, 1983 at St. Elizabeth after a short illness. He was born May 29, 1917 in Kimberly and served in the U S Army during World War II. He was employed by the Kimberly-Clark Corporation for 39 years. Mr. Vanden Veldon was a member of Holy Name Catholic Church, the Henry Verhagen Post No. 60 American Legion, and the Country Side Golf Club.

Survivors include his wife, Margaret Vanden Heuvel Vander Veldon; two daughters and sons in-law, Nancy and Fran Seidl of Combined Locks, and Mary and Gene Gloudemans of Kimberly; one son and daughter in-law, Jim and Sharry Vander Velden of Kimberly; three brothers, Urban of Shawano, and Elmer and Lyle of Kimberly; a sister, Mrs. Henry (Martha) Schwab of Cable; and eight grandchildren, Gail, Jeff, Susan and Steve Seidl, Jay and Todd Gloudemans, and Jacob and Clayton Vander Velden.

He was preceded in death by one daughter, Judy, and one brother, Cy. Pallbearers were Gail, Jeff, Steve, and Susan Seidl and Jay and Todd Gloudemans. The Jansen-Fargo Funeral Home, Kimberly, was in charge of arrangments.
