Notes about Cornelis Allard Abbing

Abbing studeerde in Utrecht drie jaar theologie en later in de letteren. Tijdens zijn promotie was hij reeds 2 jaar conrector te Hoorn en werd er in 1826 rector. Na de opheffing van de Latijnsche school in 1868 woonde hij in Heeze, waar twee van zijn kinderen gevestigd waren. (Biografisch woordenboek der Noord- en Zuidnederlandsche Letterkunde)
