BURGER, Nancy Joyce (age 79) - Please celebrate the life of our mother Nancy Joyce Burger (van der Gaag). The world lost a gentle soul with a loving heart on December 10, 2014. Nancy was born December 18, 1934 in Spokane, WA. She attended John Rogers High School, graduating in January of 1953. On March 20, 1954 she married Milton Theodore Burger in St Paul·Äôs Methodist Church. They had two children. Nancy went on to work for Spokane School District #81 as a head cook while raising her family. Her greatest joys were her family, friends and travel. She was a resident of Spokane for more than 45 years and also spent more than 30 years in Gig Harbor, WA with her family. Nancy is survived by daughter and son-in-law Ron and Connie McGehee of Edmonds, WA; son John Burger of Spokane, WA; sister and brother-in-law Larry and Janet Mellon of Spokane, WA; grandson Cameron Burger of Parkland, WA.
