Notes about Ian Cameron d'Emden
Signalman (Sig) Ian Cameron D'Emden, 1 Australian Corps of Signals, of Hobart, Tasmania, enlisted on 12 June 1940, and served in Greece. He was reported missing on 5 June 1941, and information subsequently received by the International Red Cross from the German Army indicated that he had been killed in action on 27 April 1941; he has no known grave. His name is recorded on the Athens Memorial.
