Notes about Jan Hugenszn Boom (Verboom)

an Hugenszn. BOOM. Geboren rond 1420 te Zierikzee. Overleden voor 12 augustus 1492, wanneer zijn zoon, Gerrit Meester Jan Boomszn. met zijn leen wordt begiftigd. Hij wordt ook genoemd: "Meester Jan Boom"; "Jan Boem" en "Jan Verboom".
Hij voerde als wapen: in zilver een ontwortelde en ontbladerde boom van sinopel.
Hij wordt in Geertruidenberg, in tegenwoordigheid van de Hertog op 10 april 1472 beëdigd als Schepen van Dordrecht. Als zodanig ook genoemd in 1473 en 1475.
Op 28 oktober 1477 door Maximiliaan van Oostenrijk en Maria van Bourgondië beleend met een recht een derde deel van het Ambacht van Kijfhoek met zijn toebehoren, gelegen in het Ambacht van Zwijndrecht. Dit leen gaat op 12 augustus 1492 over op zijn zoon Gerard.
Gehuwd voor de kerk voor 1463 met
38405 Anna (Yda) van der DOES. Overleden kort voor 9 augustus 1480. Zij wordt op 28 oktober 1477 door Maximiliaan van Oostenrijk en Maria van Bourgondië beleend met een Schroodambacht met de moutmate, groot en klein, met al zijn rechten en toebehoren binnen de stad Dordrecht. Dit leen gaat op 8 augustus 1480 over op haar zoon Gerrit.
Ze bezat ook 12 morgen land in Alblas. Dochter van Bartholomeus van der DOES (zie 76810) en Yda van MUYLWYCK (zie 76811).
Uit dit huwelijk:
1. Huijgh Janszn (zie 19202).
2. Gerard. Geboren rond 1460. Overleden na 12 januari 1538. Ook genoemd: "Gerard Boem" en "Gerard Verboom".
3. Jan. Geboren rond 1465. Overleden voor november 1536.
4. Margaretha. Geboren rond 1470.
Gehuwd met Herbern (Herbaren) van CUYL.
