Neeltje heeft op de Chr. school aan de Vijverhofstraat gezeten. Na het overlijden van haar ouders, zij was toen 34 jaar, is zij in 1943 naar het rusthuis gegaan op de Mathenesserlaan te Rotterdam. In
1960 verhuisde zij naar Huize Chrizona. Ze heeft een tijdje gewerkt op een werkplaats waar zij bonbons inpaakte aan de Rottekade. In 1969 is zij naar het D.V.O. De Viersprong gegaan te Kralingen, op 2
6 november 1974 kwam Neeltje in 't Kwint wonen te Hillegersberg.
