Wopke Douwes en Sjuke Hetmans zijn in 1711 Vlaams doopsgezind lidmate te Grouw; vandaar vertrokken naar Workum, waar zij met attestatie per 14.1.1714 arriveren, zij overl. 1719.
Wopke Douwes, doopsgezind lidmaat is op 8.4.1727 te Workum overleden, zijn tweede vrouw Sjouk Joannis werd lidmate 17.1.1722 en is op 25.2.1744 overleden.
Te Workum worden op 13 mei en 7 juni 1720 zonen van Wopke Douwes beluid.
