In het Kerkeboek Kerkelijke gemeente - Middelbert 1630-1790, folio 20v wordt op 30 december 1655 het huwelijk vermeld van Hindrick Allerts, van Middelbert, met Marrijtien Benens, van Enumatil.
Uit dit huwelijk wordt een dochter Grietien Hindricks geboren en gedoopt op 5 januari 1662; deze is waarschijnlijk overleden voor 1670.

In het Kerkeboek Kerkelijke gemeente - Middelbert 1630-1790, folio 21staat het huwelijk vermeld van Harmen Abels met Marretien Benes, van Middelbert. Zij wordt ook vermeld als Marrytien, Maritien, Marrigtien en Martje.
Harmen Abels was van beroep landbouwer. Hij was in september 1665 lidmaat te Middelbert, in 1677 en 1678 diaken en later ouderling in Middelbert.
