3. Kornelis Smeltekop (tweeling), geboren op 29 oktober 1895 in Veendam en overleden op 15 december 1987 in Groningen. Kornelis trouwt, oud 28 jaar en schipper, op 21 februari 1924 in Groningen met Teuniske Bosma, oud 25 jaar; zij is de dochter van Rinze Bosma en Antje Konings.

8. Jakob Smeltekop, geboren op 7 oktober 1904 in het schip in Veendam en is overleden gevonden (verdronken) op 18 oktober 1938 in Gaasterland; als beroep wordt vermeld stoombootkapitein. 'Tijdens een storm op 3 oktober 1938 is de "Hunze" vergaan en is de bemanning verdronken. Op 18 oktober 1938 zijn zij overleden verklaard'. Jacob trouwt, oud 26 jaar en beurtschipper, op 16 juli 1931 in Scheemda met Meiske van Diepen, oud 25 jaar; zij is de dochter van Harm van Diepen en Rikste Koster.
9. Pieter Smeltekop, geboren op 21 december 1906 in Veendam en overleden op 24 november 1991 in Delfzijl. Pieter trouwt, oud 25 jaar en binnenschipper, op 24 december 1931 in Groningen met Hillechien Schuur, oud 22 jaar en dienstmeid; zij is de dochter van Jan Schuur en Meinje Woning.
