Uit het huwelijk van Geertje en Jan worden twee kinderen geboren:
1. Hendrik Jan Jansen Luttikhof, geboren in Giethmen en gedoopt op 29 maart 1767 in Ommen.
2. Geertje Jansen Luttikhof, geboren in Giethmen en gedoopt op 5 februari 1769 in Ommen.

Na het overlijden van Geertje Martens, vermoedelijk voor 1770, hertrouwt Jan Hendrik Luttikhof, seduwnaar te Giethem op 10 juni 1770 in Ommen met Elsje Gerrit Janszens, jongedochter op Hofmans te Hellendoorn. Uit dit huelijk worden nog tien kinderen met de achternaam Luttikhof geboren.
