In het Doop- en trouwboek Noordbroek 1758-1811, folio 270 wordt op 1 mei alleen het huwelijk vermeld van Dolfijn Ebels. De bruid is zeer zeker Jakobje(n) Gerrits, want daarbij krijgt hij de volgende twee kinderen:
1Grietjen Dolphijns Brust, geboren 21 december 1797 en gedoopt 31 december 1797 in Noordbroek; zij is overleden op 4 juli 1854 in Noordbroek. Zij is getrouwd met Pieter Antonies Ruischer op 7 mei 1829 in Noordbroek.
2Jan Gerrits Dolfijns Brust, gedoopt 4 oktober 1801 in Noordbroek. Hij is overleden op 17 juli 1865 in Noordbroek. Hij is getrouwd met Tjakin Geerts Obbens op 18 september 1823 in Noordbroek.
Ook in zijn overlijdensakte wordt vermeld dat zijn relatie Jaaptje Gerrits is.
Jacobjen Gerrits is eerder getrouwd geweest met Berent Ottens afkomstig van Lipsterland. Huwelijksregistratie op 15 mei 1785 in Noordbroek. Uit dit huwelijk is enn zoon Gerrit Berends Keizer geboren en gedoopt op 30 juli 1786 in Noordbroek; hij is overleden op 28 februari 1870 in Stootshorn, gem. Noordbroek.
