Het trouwboek van Hontenisse vermeldt bij het huwelijk van Joannis Baptist Stouthamer en Pieternella Eggermond op 10 oktober 1773: Joannis Baptist Stouthamer Jm geboortig van Caprijk oud 34 jaren. Gedoopt (RK) op 19-03-1738 te Kaprijke (getuige(n): Joannis Vandenbosch en Livina van Lantschot), overleden op 31-12-1803 te Heinkenszand op 65-jarige leeftijd. Kreeg in 1787 een verklaring van goed gedrag om te mogen "leuren met gist, zoute droge vis en haring door het land".
Ondertrouwd op 25-09-1773 te Hontenisse, gehuwd op 35-jarige leeftijd op 10-10-1773 te Hontenisse met Petronella EGGERMOND, 25 jaar oud, gedoopt (RK) op 07-11-1747 te Hontenisse, begraven op 29-11-1791 te Hontenisse op 44-jarige leeftijd, dochter van Cornelis EGGERMOND, stroodekker, en Petronella VAN DEN BOSCH.
