Franciscus was landbouwer en herbergier vermits op 19.10.1761 vernoemd als De Borghgraeve, Frans fs. Adriaen, 60 j, landman en hostellier te Temse. Dochter is Anna Catarina, 31 j. (13).
- Juni 1750 door landmeter Van Goethem in Themsche lantmaeten gemeten, ten versoecke van Frans Burghgrave seker partye grond bij hem in cheynse genomen van Joos Peertsman, gelegen binnen de prochie van Themsche ontrent de Banck, palende o. Pieter de Ropsdam n. den Heirwegh, alsnu betimmert met een nieuw huis genaemt “De Nieuw Banck”, welcken gront is deel maeckende van de nrs. 1760 en 1761, ten deele onder Steenbrugge, ende int geheel groot bevonden 177 roeden. (14).
- kaartnr. 1760: hofstede, 145 roeden en kaartnr. 1761 hofland, 181 roeden. Hofstede en hofland, w. en n. den Ghentschen Heirwegh, samen 326 roeden later nog bebouwd met 2 huizen. In 1754 177 roeden op Jan (?) Frans De Burghgrave, daer zijn huys op staet. Blijft op Joos Peersman 125 roeden, dit is de hofstede. In 1760 ook de hofstede op voornoemde Jan Frans De Burghgrave tot Haesdonck . In 1774 177 roeden op Jozef de Burggraeve, eigenaar, wezende leen onder Steenbrugge, o. Pieter de Ropsdam. De hofstede op Frans de Burggrave. Later op Jozef Meersman? In 1813 (de 177 roeden) op Marie Colete Burggrave (15). In 1759 bezit hij te Haasdonk in de wijk het pachtgoet 21 gemeten 10 roeden komende van Pieter Busschaert. In 1766 komende van dheer castro wonende te Sint-Niklaas 365 roeden in het wijcxken achter de bancke. En op 01.06.1768: Michiel Frans. Anné griffier van de keure in Haasdonk verkoopt namens Sr. Laurentius Ignatius van Raemdonck aen francis de burghgraeve 2 stukken land de peylacker aan elkaar gelegen binnen Haasdonk in den wyck genaemt de westackers t’samen groot een alf buynder paelende o. Sr. N. Vereecken, s. jan wielandt w. de weynstraete n. den heer advocaet rotthier ende jan bauwens (…) in pachte by Gillis volkerick fs Gillis tot keirsavont 1773 … Koop gesloten voor 417 gulden courant gelt (16). Hun kinderen geboren te Haasdonk.
