Notes about Johannes Piccardt

Johannes and Elisabeth had a daughter: Rocha (or Roka) Maria, geboren Amsterdam 13 augustus 1661.

Blijkens een oud handschrift waren de ouders ondertrouwd (zoals ook blijkt uit het Amsterdams proclamatieboek), doch door het vrij plotseling vertrek naar Voor-Indie van Johannes en verhindering door ziekte van Isabella om naar Den Haag te komen, niet getrouwd. Er is een uitvoerig verhaal over de geboorte van het kind Rocha Maria, dat door den grootvader ook als een Piccardt werd beschouwd. Zij werd 14 augustus 1661 in het doopregister der Zuiderkerk ingeschreven als Roka Maria, dochter van Jan Jansen en Lijsbeth Jans.
