Kreeg haar opleiding in Maasoord een psychiatrische inrichting in Poortugaal en het Coolsingel ziekenhuis te Rotterdam.Behaalde alle diploma's zoals B-verpl. A-verpl. Ooievaartje, wijk - en kinderaantekening.
Twee jaar na de bevrijding nam ze dienst in het KNIL als verpleegster en kreeg de rang van Luitenant. Kwam na 2 jaar terug in Rotterdam, maar is daarna naar Nederlans Nieuw Guinea vertrokken als verpleegster naar het Zendingshospitaal In Nederlands Nieuw Guinea, kwam na 3 jaar terug naar Nederland. Heeft tot haar dood in de verpleging gezeten. o.a. Groot Graffel psychiatrische inrichting. Dijkzigt Ziekenhuis te Rotterdam en schoolverpleegkundige bij de GGGD ook in Rotterdam Reconvalicentieschool en openluchtschool in Rotterdam.
