Leonia werd via Kamp Vught naar Ravensbrück gedeporteerd en overleed daar vlak na de bevrijding. Marcel werd naar Auschwitz gedeporteerd en later nog naar Langenbielau. Hij kwam op 2 juli 1945 terug thuis in Tilburg
