Jan is overleden op 16-04-1962 in Haarlem, 66 jaar oud. Van het overlijden is aangifte gedaan op 19-04-1962.
Notitie bij Jan: Jan Cristiaan was rond 1914 kantoorbediende bij de gemeente Haarlem.
Het gezin woonde van 1914 tot 1921 in het ouderlijk huis aan de Berkheijdestraat 31.

Jan trouwde, 19 jaar oud, op 05-11-1914 in Haarlem met Maria Petronella (Marie) Scherjon, 24 jaar oud, nadat zij op 24-10-1914 in Haarlem in ondertrouw zijn gegaan. De scheiding werd uitgesproken. Marie is geboren op 30-09-1890 in Leiden, dochter van Daniel Scherjon en Petronella Johanna van Vuuren. Marie is overleden in 1972 in Haarlem, 81 of 82 jaar oud.
