VANDENBORN, John
September 7, 1938 ~ June 24, 2013

After a brave struggle with Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma for four years, John was called home to be with his Lord and Savior. John is survived by the love of his life, wife of 53 years, Sophie. He will be deeply missed by his children and grandchildren. John was born in Holland and immigrated to Canada in 1949 with his parents Johannes and Nennetje as well as siblings Bertha, Bill, George, Hans, Jack, and Wilco. John was predeceased by his parents and brother George. Following a successful career in Electrical Engineering, John pursued his true love of farming by returning to take over the family farm in Busby, AB in 1974.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Alliance Church in Westlock on Saturday, June 29 at 12:00 P.M.
