Zij was begijn, blijkens de aanduidingen 'quaesula' (nu: kwezel; toen: begijn;) in de doopakte van Catharina van Lieshout, dochter van haar zus Maria, 'devota' in de doopakte van Helena, dochter van haar broer Jan, en 'soror' in haar begraafakte. Zij erfde gewoon mee in het grondbezit en was dus zeker geen kloosterzuster. Zij figureert in allerlei doopaktes uit die tijd als peettante of vervangend doopgetuige.
Ook in een trouwakte van 27-9-1699 als getuige genoemd: 'Elisabetha Petri quaesula'.
