Uit zijn verbintenis (voor 796) met Chrothais, zonder twijfel nauw geparenteerd aan Adelhard van Corbië en diens halfbroer Wala, de toekomstige beschermheren van Bernard van Italië, werden de volgende kinderen geboren:

    a. Bernard, volgt IIIA
    b. Adelais, geb. ca. 798, overl. na 810.
    c. Adula, geb. ca. 800/10, overl. na 810.
    d. Gundrada, geb. ca. 800/10, overl. na 810.
    e. Berta, geb. ca. 800/10, overl. na 810.
    f. Theodrada, geb. ca. 800/10, overl. na 810.
  • He died on July 8, 810 in Milaan (Italië), he was 33 years old.
