(Rotterdamse elektrische tram) omdat hij meer dan 40 jaar als tuinman in dienst is geweest op herstellingsoord Azareël te Voorthuizen en omdat hij vanaf ±1950 tot aan 1968 lid van de vrijwillige brandbeer Voorthuizen is geweest (en daarna erelid)
Hij was mede-oprichter van de hengelsportverening in het Aanschotergat. Hier was hij lid van 1946 tot 1968, heeft vele jaren in het bestuur gezeten (en daarna erelid)
