Na het huwelijk met Wilhelmina neeltje is hij gaan werken bij Foto Vons. De zaak werd later overgenomen door ziijn zoon Marco Jacob, om vervolgens te worden overgenomen door Loek. De zaak kreeg de naam Foto Studio Loek. Wilhelmina en Loek kregen 1 zoon, genaamd Erwin Hermanus. Erwin heeft op latere leeftijd de naam Vons aangenomen
